Project selection

Separate wine presentation from storage requirements.

A venue service display, retail bottle display and storage brief can need different layouts and operating conditions. Define the intended use before selecting a cabinet or shelf.

Bottle assortment

Send bottle diameter, length, shape and the mix per shelf. Review the widest and tallest packs; a nominal bottle count is not a layout for every assortment.

Temperature and use

State the required holding or service condition and whether multiple operating zones are needed. Request the selected model's actual range and zone arrangement rather than assuming them from the category name.

Shelf and access

Choose flat support, formed bottle channels or an agreed sliding arrangement. Check the door opening, loaded shelf clearance and included rails or stops on the drawing.

Installation

Show the proposed opening, surroundings and service route. Enclosed placement needs model-specific ventilation confirmation; undercounter dimensions alone do not establish built-in suitability.

Single wine zone

One holding condition with shelf space organized around the bottle mix. Specify the bottle profile before comparing a nominal count.

Two wine zones

A partition and separate shelf layouts change usable bottle space. Compare each zone's bottle layout and control arrangement, rather than dividing the total capacity in half.

Wine and beverage zones

Wine-bottle shelves and upright-can storage need separate pack plans and target conditions. A total litre value does not define either side's usable loading.

Wooden or formed-wire shelves

Flat wood slats, a shelf on side rails and shaped wire channels have different bottle contact and access. Wood species, finish and rail mechanism require their own specification.

A wine-storage claim needs model-specific evidence. If humidity, vibration, lighting exposure or long-term storage performance is a purchasing requirement, include it in the specification and request the applicable evidence.
