Bottle & can pack-out

Turn package dimensions into a usable loading brief.

Compare published reference loading first, then plan your own package layout. Take a calculation record into the model-specific drawing review.

Try your shelf and package dimensions.

The starting values are a worked example, not a MARKOOL model. Enter clear usable shelf space after allowing for cabinet hardware and required air paths. Outside cabinet dimensions cannot be used here.

Levels are separate shelves with the same clear space. The calculation uses a rectangular grid, not stacking or interlocking packages.

Geometric estimate

72 packs

36 per level × 2 shelf levels

6 across × 6 deep

Top view of one shelf. Airflow, door access, shelf strength and cooling still need a model-specific check.

PRELIMINARY PACK-OUT — BUYER-ENTERED DIMENSIONS
Clear shelf space (width x depth x height): 300 x 300 x 160 mm
Pack envelope (width x depth x height): 50 x 50 x 150 mm
Identical shelf levels: 2; between-pack gap: 0 mm
Grid: 6 across x 6 deep; orientation: as entered
Geometric estimate: 36 per level / 72 total. Height fits: yes
Excludes unmeasured obstructions, air paths, access, shelf load and cooling performance. Not a model capacity or approved drawing.
Please review the usable shelf drawing, actual package shape and proposed load before confirming the layout.

Compare loading only for the stated package type and size. The published can and bottle counts are reference configurations; your package shape, shelf arrangement and access need their own layout. Confirm dimension order and installation clearances from the model drawing.

YOU PROVIDE

The pack and the retail task

Send actual package width, depth and height, intended orientation, assortment, desired facings and restocking routine. For cylindrical containers, use the largest diameter, including any shoulder or cap overhang.

If you only know the exterior cabinet size, begin with the published model table. Obtain usable shelf dimensions before treating the calculator as a fit estimate.

THE DRAWING REVIEW

A shelf-by-shelf answer

The project layout should identify the model and drawing revision, package dimensions, facings, depth, shelf count and total. It should show dividers, stops and areas reserved for airflow or access.

The geometric example assumes identical shelf levels. Real cabinets may have different usable space at the top, bottom or around internal components.

THE SAMPLE DECISION

Fit, retrieval and cooling

Check that the actual package can be loaded and removed, the door closes, shelves support the agreed load and the air path remains clear. Compare the loaded arrangement with the temperature-test plan.

Keep the approved drawing and any exceptions with the sample record. A count alone does not establish cooling performance or allowable shelf load.

What your drawing request includes

The calculator's “Use this layout” link transfers the entered dimensions, units, layout and assumptions into an editable enquiry message. Add the proposed model, destination and any mixed package sizes before sending. Nothing is submitted by the calculator.

Drawing scope and any sample work are agreed for the project. You can also download the calculation as a text brief without supplying contact information.
